Megan Fox Posters & Video.. Because I Can

February 26th, 2009

My wife would never let me get away with plastering my walls with Megan Fox posters. Maybe one little one somewhere because I can fall back on my letting her having a magazine picture of Tim McGraw on her corkboard. :D

But! One of the GREAT benefits of having my own blog is…

…I can include an entire carousel of Megan Fox posters!

I know I’m not the only guy in the world to think (or know) she is absolutely, without a doubt, the hottest women walking this planet. Also it’s likely.. if you think that, you saw her in the movie Transformers

Guys.. How many times have you watched that clip? ;)

Joes Review: The Movie “Australia”

January 24th, 2009

Went to go see the movie Australia last night with my wife. Starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.. A love story, Action, Adventure, Drama…

Quoting from imdb.com:

In northern Australia at the beginning of World War II, an English aristocrat inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country’s most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Wolverine  , but he was really good. As was the rest of the cast including the kid Brandon Walters. Great job for his film debut!

Ok.. I’m not turning into a movie reviewer here.. or maybe I am! ;)

My main point was from the perspective of the relationship between the two main characters.. Lady Ashley played by Kidman and The Drover played by Jackman.

If you want to watch a tale about 2 totally opposite souls coming together.. two individuals from opposite sides of life, this is your movie.

It’s interesting how they somehow met in the middle.. Drover rebounded from his negative past and became a more respectable guy and Lady Ashley fought against her image and slowly embraced the rough life in Australia..

I was suprised by her toughness as the story unfolded; I assumed she would play the dainty, don’t break a nail, part throughout.

Good Movie.. I’m glad I saw it. I don’t know that I’d go out of my way to watch it again, but I do highly recommend watching it at least once. On the big screen if you still can.

Joes Rating: 4 Stars Movie Rating

Hmmmm.. maybe I will become a reviewer. This was kind of fun! :D

Steak, Shrimp and a Movie..

December 13th, 2008

That’s tonights agenda with the wife.

We have Blockbuster Online and we’re going to grab our next movie.  I love the service.. although I think we got a little carried away last time trying to fill up our Queue..  we just started picking whatever and we’re watching a lot of movies we forgot why we picked them or what they are about!  :D

I think the next time I’m going to try to only pick 10 at a time or something.. this way too you can keep newer movies in the mix.  If you pick 50 at a time, it might take many months to get through them before you can add some newer movies that have come out.

Anyway.. that’s what we’re doing along with cook’n a nice steak and having some cold shrimp.  Yum!

I love stay at home date night. :D

Hope you are having a great day!
