Ending a Relationship

August 18th, 2008

It’s one of the most difficult, life changing things we go through.  Before I met my current wife I went through quite a few unfortunately.  But as this article will go into that I’ve linked to below, it’s really a transition in your life.  Yes, it hurts at the time and it’s not easy, but you will get through it.

I think of all the relationships I was in and they all contributed to who I am today.  I cherish the good times I had.. good memories.  And honestly I think little of the bad times.

You learn and take something from every experience..  relationships are no different.

If you are going through a breakup now or just want to be prepared.. or maybe it’s been a while and you want to make sense of it all, I recommend reading..

How to End a Relationship, (How to Break Up with Someone, How to Cope with Your Partner Leaving)

The relationships we have throughout our lives shape us..  cherish every moment.

The Occassional Refresh

December 14th, 2007
Engaged

I’m always looking for ways to stimulate conversation with my Wife. You need to communicate and also… be friends. Joke around… find common interests to discuss.

A great way to light the other up with a smile is to do a ‘Refresh’…

Think back over the past… go back to how you met and what those days were like. Chat about the good times you had.

This is a great thing to do when things get tough and are going through some rough times. You have your memories together; things you have gone through that were fun and positive.

Glue yourself back together with these memories when it seems your world is breaking apart.

One of my wife and I’s favorite memory is when we went to a Sandals Resort in Jamaica after only being together for a few months… GREAT time. GREAT memory.

And it’s so uplifting to think back to that and to look forward to the next time we are able to go there again…

Occasionally Refresh and keep those memories alive! It not only will put a smile on both your faces, but it will re-strengthen that relationship.
